La positividad y ocupación hospitalaria por COVID-19 continúan a la baja esta semana, mientras que el Ministerio de Salud Pública reportó este jueves 856 casos activos de la enfermedad.
La tasa de positividad en las últimas cuatro semanas en los reportes del pasado lunes fue de 7.24 %, bajó el martes a 7.18 %, el miércoles a 7.14 % y este jueves se ubica en 6.93 %.
Desde el pasado lunes hasta este jueves han sido procesadas 9,902 muestras de COVID-19. De ese total, este jueves fueron reportadas 2,124 muestras procesadas en las últimas 24 horas.
Así mismo, la ocupación hospitalaria continúa descendiendo, ya que el lunes el 1.7 % de las camas para pacientes con COVID-19 estaban ocupadas con 41 internos; el martes se registró una ocupación de 1.6 % con 38 ingresados; el miércoles 1.7 % con 40 casos; y este jueves esa cifra bajó a 1.6 % con 38 pacientes.
En tanto que las unidades de cuidados intensivos han tenido una ocupación de 2.4 % el pasado lunes, 2.2 % el martes, 1.7 % el miércoles y 1.5 % este jueves.
Casos activos
Los casos activos de COVID-19 registrados desde el inicio de la semana laboral han sido 1,116 el lunes, 1,065 el martes, 898 el miércoles y 856 este jueves.
Nuevos casos
El boletín 903 de Salud Pública, publicado hoy, registra 228 nuevos casos de COVID-19, de los cuales 46 fueron en el Distrito Nacional, 40 en Santo Domingo y 34 en Santiago, provincias que se mantienen como principales focos de contagios.
