La información la dio a conocer la vocera del candidato, Tessie Sánchez.

Doña Mélida, de 95 años edad, se encontraba ingresada por complicaciones de salud propias de su edad en el Hospital Metropolitano de Santiago (HOMS), en donde falleció a las 8:00 a.m. de este domingo 14 de mayo.

“La familia Martínez Durán agradece profundamente al cuerpo médico que estuvo a cargo del cuidado de su madre, así como a todos los que, junto a ellos, se mantuvieron en oración permanente”, expresó Sánchez a través de un comunicado.
