Los equipos de rescate que trabajan en la búsqueda de desaparecidos tras un deslizamiento de tierra que arrastró por lo menos 15 vehículos en un municipio al sur de Brasil, confirmaron este martes que al menos dos personas murieron en el desastre pero aún se desconoce si hay más víctimas.
El accidente se registró en la noche del lunes en el kilómetro 669 de la carretera federal BR 376, en jurisdicción de Guaratuba, municipio del estado de Paraná, y, además de dos muertes confirmadas, seis personas han sido rescatadas con vida, según el Cuerpo de Bomberos.

De acuerdo con el organismo, la intensa lluvia que se registra en el lugar ha dificultado las labores de rescate y aún es incierto el número total de muertos y desaparecidos por el accidente.
Según el boletín divulgado, el deslizamiento de tierras que interrumpió el tránsito por la vía en ambos sentidos arrastró para fuera de la pista a por lo menos 10 automóviles y 6 camiones que estaban en un trecho de cerca de 200 metros de la carretera.
El tránsito por la carretera que comunica los estados de Paraná y Santa Catarina, fronterizos con Argentina, está interrumpido desde el lunes.
