El expresidente estadounidense Donald Trump (2017-2021) reivindicó este lunes que se le declare ganador de las elecciones de 2020, en las que fue derrotado por Joe Biden, o, que en su defecto, se organicen nuevos comicios al considerar que los anteriores se vieron comprometidos por culpa del FBI.

«Ahora resulta que, de forma concluyente, el FBI ENTERRÓ LA HISTORIA DEL COMPUTADOR DE HUNTER BIDEN ANTES DE LAS ELECCIONES sabiendo que, si no lo hacían, Trump hubiera ganado fácilmente las presidenciales de 2020″, dijo en su red Truth Social.

Esto, a su juicio, es un «FRAUDE» y una «INJERENCIA ELECTORAL» en niveles «nunca vistos» en Estados Unidos.

En el centro de la polémica está el computador que supuestamente pertenecía al segundo hijo del actual presidente, Joe Biden, olvidado en un centro de reparación en Delaware y repleto de datos privados sobre los negocios y la vida de Hunter Biden.

La prensa publicó en 2020, entre otras revelaciones, que este último facilitó una supuesta reunión entre Joe Biden, cuando era vicepresidente de Barack Obama (2009-2017), y Vadym Pozharsky, un asesor de la compañía ucraniana Burisma, en la que su hijo era miembro del consejo de Administración.

El senador republicano Ron Johnson hizo público la semana pasada que oficiales del FBI pidieron a agentes del organismo no investigar ese computador durante meses para, supuestamente, no influir en el resultado de los pasados comicios presidenciales.

También la pasada semana, Mark Zuckerberg, el fundador de Facebook y consejero delegado de Meta, admitió en una entrevista en el podcast del presentador Joe Rogan que Facebook restringió historias sobre ese computador después de que el FBI los instara a tener cuidado con las campañas de desinformación rusa.

Trump consideró este lunes que solo hay dos posibilidades: «Declarar al legítimo ganador o, y esto sería la solución mínima, señalar que las elecciones de 2020 se vieron irremediablemente comprometidas y organizar una nueva ¡inmediatamente!».

El exmandatario está estas semanas en el foco de la polémica después de que el FBI registrara su mansión de Mar-a-Lago por haberse llevado documentos de la Casa Blanca tras abandonar el poder.

La información que ha difundido el Departamento de Justicia hasta ahora muestra que Trump y su entorno podrían estar siendo investigados por tres delitos: obstrucción a la Justicia, destrucción de documentos y violación de la ley de espionaje, que acarrean penas de cárcel.

El senador republicano Lindsey Graham ha advertido que como Trump sea imputado habrá «disturbios en las calles» y ha criticado el «doble rasero» que en su opinión se aplica al expresidente: «La mayoría de republicanos, yo incluido, creen que cuando se trata de Trump no hay ley. Se trata de ir por él».
