Manuel Medrano afirma que estaba contando los días para su presentación en Santo Domingo y Santiago y que su fanaticada dominicana es muy especial, ya que han demostrado cariño e interés hacia su carrera desde el inicio.

“La gente está pendiente del proyecto, de cuándo voy a ir, siempre me están preguntando y  comentando en las redes. Es inevitable no cogerle un cariño especial al público dominicano”, manifestó a Listín Diario previo a un encuentro la noche del martes en Santo Domingo.

Junto al tour, el artista colombiano viene acompañado de un nuevo disco, titulado «Eterno», que le ha permitido recorrer varios países de Centroamérica, y con el cual se presentará este viernes 16 en Santiago y sábado 17 en el Pabellón de Voleibol del Centro Olímpico de Santo Domingo.

En esta ocasión para la isla, el artista promete un espectáculo muy animado, con “poder” y lleno de energía, en el que junto a su banda llevaran una recarga de emociones a sus fanáticos.

“Entre guitarra eléctrica, acústica, batería, bajo y piano está compuesta mi banda. Es un show muy musical y muy especial. También venimos con equipo de luces visuales y pantallas. Es un show con mucho poder, con mucha energía. Yo sé que la gente lo a disfrutar”, destacó el compositor.

Las letras y melodías que van dedicadas a la mujer y especialmente al amor son el motor de Medrano, quien desea que sus inspiraciones sean eternas. Con el paso de los años y las vivencias, el artista colombiano, ganador de dos Premios Grammy Latinos, ha evolucionado. Ahora se deja llevar por las vibras.

“Espiritualmente he crecido mucho, como ser humano, como artista, también quiero pensar que musicalmente he crecido un poco”, afirmó.

Su conexión con la creación lo llevó a producir “Eterno”, su segundo álbum que se estrenó en octubre de 2021 con 12 temas.

Para Medrano, la palabra eterno tiene fuerza y conexión directa al amor. “La palabra que más conjugan con eterno es amor, al decir ‘amor eterno’ y Eterno es un álbum de amor”. Además, reveló estar enamorado, esto sin dar mayores detalles.

Medrano señaló que le ha sorprendido como en poco tiempo las canciones de Eterno han sido acogidas por el público, tal es el caso de “Nenita” y “Una luz dentro de ti”. Sin embargo, cuenta que la fanaticada enloquece al escuchar “Afuera del planeta” y “Bajo el agua”, de su primera producción.

A título personal el artista resaltó que de su primer disco “Manuel Medrano” le emociona interpretar “Si pudiera” y “Yo solo nado contigo”.

Mientras que de su segunda producción tiene su favorita: “Me encanta tocar en vivo ‘Más allá’, de Eterno, porque es súper rockera y los pone a todos (el público) a saltar, me produce mucha energía y me conecto mucho con la letra también”.

Sobre “Eterno”
“Eterno” es el universo, donde cada canción es un mundo. No obstante, la columna vertebral del álbum es el rock en español, enfatizó el colombiano.

“El universo es eterno y la Tierra es el corazón de este, de este forma quiero enviar un mensaje a qué las personas se sientan parte de esto”, expresó.

El joven músico describe este segundo álbum como un sueño. Las canciones fueron escritas en estos últimos años y el proceso de grabación se llevó a cabo en estudios de Colombia y México por alrededor de seis meses.

“Todo este año hemos estado haciendo la promoción del disco, lanzamos algunos sencillos. Es como un sueño y este “Eterno Tour” con toda mi banda por diferentes países que vibran con mi música, todo ha sido un proceso muy hermoso, poder vivir este segundo disco y qué alegría volver a República Dominicana con este álbum”.

Su pensar

Medrano afirmó estar muy relacionado a las energías y a la creación. Asimismo, confesó que se maneja en base a las vibras y que su inspiración al momento de escribir proviene de todo su alrededor, del universo, la tierra, las estrellas e incluso de aquello que es intangible como el viento. “Me inspira en absolutamente todo lo que me rodea”.

“Para mí es mágico a ser parte de esto y estar aquí… Realmente yo cuando escribo trato de conectarme con el universo, con las energías positivas, incluso con las negativas, que no necesariamente son malas”, comentó.

Agregó que en el caso de la tristeza, muchas personas la ven como una emoción triste o negativa, sin embargo, es una emoción tan necesaria como la felicidad y la tranquilidad, sensaciones que mueven a las personas y por lo que muchas se han identificado con sus canciones.
