El presidente de la República, Luis Abinader, otorgó una pensión especial de RD$75,000 mensuales a la señora Nelly Josefina Flores de Ventura, viuda del merenguero Johnny Ventura, fallecido en julio del presente año.

El beneficio está contenido en el decreto 674-21, emitido el pasado 25 de octubre, pero no fue difundido por la Dirección de Comunicación Estratégica del Palacio, como suelen hacer con la mayoría de los documentos firmados por Abinader.

“En caso de que la beneficiaria se encuentre disfrutando de una pensión del Estado, esta podrá optar por la pensión que más le favorezca”, señala el artículo 2 del decreto.

Dentro de tres meses, la Dirección General de Jubilaciones y Pensiones debe hacer efectivo el pago de la pensión, siempre y cuando Flores de Ventura haya realizado el proceso de inclusión en la nómina de los Jubilados y Pensionados Civiles del Estado ante la Dirección General de Jubilaciones y Pensiones a cargo del Estado del Ministerio de Hacienda, indica la orden presidencial.
