El administrador general de la Empresa de Generación Hidroeléctrica Dominicana (EGEHID), ingeniero Rafael Salazar, recibió un reconocimiento por parte del equipo de fútbol Club Atlético de San Cristóbal, en valoración a sus aportes para el impulso y desarrollo del fútbol en esa provincia.

La distinción fue entregada por Maryori Hidalgo, directora ejecutiva del Club Atlético San Cristóbal; Juan Guerra, presidente Ad Vitam y Gerardo Pérez Dipré, gerente. Los directivos resaltaron los aportes hechos por la EGEHID y la administración que encabeza Salazar en favor del deporte y la juventud.
A través de su Programa de Responsabilidad Social Empresarial la EGEHID ha brindado apoyo a distintas organizaciones deportivas, contribuyendo de manera positiva en la vida de los jóvenes en las distintas disciplinas, como sucedió con el equipo de fútbol Club Atlético de San Cristóbal.
Hidalgo destacó en Salazar un liderazgo con propósito, que sirvió de impulso para esa organización y que gracias a ello, atletas que han salido de esa organización, hoy pertenecen a la Selección Dominicana de Fútbol, que por primera vez logró clasificar para ir al Mundial.
“Su apoyo ha sido de gran valor para nosotros, para el deporte y en especial para el fútbol de San Cristóbal”, resaltó Hidalgo y consideró que hacen falta personas con este tipo de compromiso.
“Nosotros estamos comprometidos con todas las actividades sanas de San Cristóbal, que son actividades que ayudan a la cohesión y son parte de la planificación estratégica”, expresó Salazar al recibir la distinción.
